Community

The Fremont Senior Living is not an island. From the very beginning, we knew that we wanted The Fremont to be a thriving part of the greater Springfield community. Over the years, we have worked diligently to engage with local businesses, clubs, and agencies to spread support and philanthropy.

Staff

The Fremont senior living community prides itself on a staff that will treat you like family. Every resident meets with each of our department heads to discuss preferences and services to ensure that each element of daily living is personalized to their desires. Our goal is to enable the highest level of independence—all provided with dignified, loving and healing care.

Our History

The Fremont Senior Living started as The Fremont Lodge and Villas. Conceived and built by O’Reilly Development, The Fremont opened in 2008 featuring 33 apartments surrounded by 22 senior villas. While the property had success, the challenges of the 2008 housing crisis and the condo-purchase structure of the property caused challenges in becoming fully occupied. Arrow Senior Living was contracted as the operator for The Fremont in 2010 and together the two companies set to make our campus a full continuum of care.

From 2010 to 2013, services were established to reposition The Fremont as a full-service senior living community. Housekeeping, events & entertainment, and dining services catered by a local restaurant were established and condos were fully converted to apartments for rent. In 2013, The Fremont cut the ribbon to fully become The Fremont Senior Living, the continuum of care we operate as today. This transition solidified The Fremont’s position as Springfield’s premier senior living provider. The Fremont features three full-service restaurants, robust social services, transportation, and plentiful amenities. It is our mission to provide the highest quality senior living environment to the average, middle-market senior in a comfortable and welcoming environment that reflects the personality fitting the greater Springfield community.
